Chung cư mini (CCMN) and nhà trọ in Vietnam
Chung cư mini ("mini apartment building", often shortened to CCMN) is a multi-storey building put up by an individual on their own residential land, with many small apartments that are sold or rented. Nhà trọ or phòng trọ are rented rooms, often in a converted house. Since the September 2023 Khương Hạ fire in Hanoi, both have been the focus of fire-safety enforcement. Căn hộ dịch vụ (serviced apartments) are a separate, company-run segment: see serviced apartments.
